POLITICIANS AT VARIANCE.
WRIT AGAINST SIB WILLIAM LYNE. Received 17, 1.10 a.m. Sydney, January 16. Sir William McMillan has issued a writ claiming £SOOO damages against Sir William Lyne. Sir William McMillan states that Sir William Lyno some time ago in the luncheon room of the Federal Parlianicnt practically slated that the Me Arthur Company, of whom Mix Millan is a member, purchased hats from manufacturers in Sydney, and labelled them as made in England. Sir William McMillan wrofco to 6if William Lyne that this was absolutely untrue, giving him the ohanoe to GX» plain, otherwise he intended to fcakfl aetiou, but Sir William Lynsdid sot eply to this or subsequent letter,
