ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
I'KH r-HKSS ASSOCIATION. ArcKLisii, January 15. Two young men named Little and Troiighear, went fishing at Whangapoua on Friday. When attempting to cross the bar their boat was eapsiz.id. Troughhcar swam ashore, but Little was not seen again. Gisiioiixiv, January 15. Frank Lillle, head shepherd for Mr G. 0. Ormond, Mithitt, was drowned at Opoulanm yesterday. Two telegraph linemen riding along the beach saw Little fall off his horse into the surf. They went Io his assistance, hut life was extinct. Dii.nkdin, January 15. A dray, loaded with firewood, which was being driven by Thomas Lewis, who was accompanied by Edward Collins, 12 years of age, capsized near Borough Bay, Port Chalmers. The boy Collins was apparently killed at once, while Lewis, iu addition to severe bruises on the body, had three ribs fractured.
