A slight drizzling rain from the South set in about nine o'idock this morning, but cleared off before the game resumed, and the weather promises to be fine for the rest of the day. Hickson and Redgrave, the not outs of Saturday, began scoring rapidly. At noon the batsmen were still together, with the score i wickets o>r 2S"! -Hickson 128, lledgrave 70. At 299 Redgrave skied Olliffi to cover, and was caught, after playing a vigorous innings for 77. The visitors speak very highly of his bowling. Upham clean bowled the last three men, and secured four in all for 55. The fielding on both sides to-day was weak, and a number of chances were missed.
