At a meeting of the committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association held last night, n sub-committee was appointed to hold an enquiry concerning the allegation that the wicket at Lnncft.' er Park had been tampered with during the Cantcrbury-Otago match.
The New Plymouth Club will be reresented at Waitara. on Thursday by the following team: Hasell, Light' band, Frauud, Whittle, Bewlcy, Bauchope, Fleming, Holgate, Hardin?, Price, and Chitty. A New Plymouth town team will play an eleven from the s.s. Rarawa this afternoon.
The unfinished match, Inglewood v. Carrington road seniors, is to be continued at Inglewood on Thursday.
