FURTHER EVIDENCE. Received 8, 11.12 p.m. Sydney, January 8. Bunicn, further cross-examined in the case proceeding at the Court, admitted that she knew well it was a case of forgery when negotiating a loan to cover the- expenses of contesting it in the New Zealand Courts. She objected going into a witness box in New Zealand and swearing lies, but Burchcr told her that probably she would not be required to go into the box. She admitted she was engaged to Captain Lindfors for a period of five years.
