ALLEGED MURDER.

WOMAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. , Received 9,1.2 a.m. Sydney, January 8. Annie Johnston has been committed for trial for the wilful murder of Harry Diamond, a prominent athlete, and brother to the well-known cricketer, by administering an overdose of morphia. It appears that they visited several hotels together. Subsequently Diamond was found unconscious in the street and died. Johnston was addicted to morphia, and a quantity of it was found in her possession.
