The statement for the 36th week of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's egg-laying competition, at Lincoln College, shows that (>lB eggs wero laid during the week, making a total to date of 23,551. Following arc the best totals for the week :-J. Tindell's Silver Wyandotte's 25; A Tyrco's Black'O.'pingtori's, 25; J. W. Halliday's Minoreas, 24. Tho best totals to elite are H. Hawkc's Silver Wyandottcs, 948; J. j Mann's Wliito Wyandottes, 888 ; J, i H. Shaw's Brown Leghorns, 791,
