Bewley and Griffiths, dairy produce exporters, New Plymouth, are in receipt of the following market report from their London principals, Messrs Mills and Sparrow, dated 17th November, ISIOS : Butter. Finest butters continue scarce, and market is strong. Danish.—Although the market is firm, buyers are operating with great caution; the number of dairies now coming which can be classed as' choice' are few.

French.—The demand lias been running on salt baskets, and an advance of 2s has been made all round. Unsalted and rolls remain the same as last advised. Australian.—Condition of butter ex

s.s. India was exceptionally good. Many of the Victorian brands opened above the average, the general run of quality being line. Sheep pens were well filled, best wethers fetching 25s 3d. Ewes went up to 18s. Lambs to 17s. Pigs were scarce and in keen demand.
