; RARKER-GARTIiEY. The South Road Methodist Church ' was the scene of a very pretty wed- , ding on Wednesday afternoon. The con- ! trading parlies were Miss Mary Elizaboth Alice Gartrcy (eldest daughter of Mrs A. Busby), and Mr Richard Barker.' The Rev. Busby, was charmingly attired in a er'eam silk voile dress, with long train, and trimmed with cream satin ,iind loco, She also wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a lovely shower bouquet, which was made by Mrs Green. She was n|. tended by four bridesmaids. Misses Maud Gartrey, Ada Gartrcy, Ethel Gsrlrcy (sisters of the bride) and Miss Ivy Gilbert, The two former wore dove grey voile dresses and white hats, trimmed with while chiffon and apple blossoms, and carried bouquets of ohoioo wliito flowers. The i«o little maids looked very dainty in white silk dresses and white tucked silk huts, and also curried baskets of white and 'pink roses tied with pink chiffon. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Arthur Cowlin us best man. The Church was very prettily decorated for the occasion by friends of Iho bride and bridegroom, a handsome bell of white flowers overhanging the altar. Beiiiß the first marriage" ceremony in the Church Mr Williams, on behalf of the Trustees, presented the bride and bridegroom with a flue Bible. The "Wedding March" by Mendelsohn, was played by Miss 'Dixon as the party left the building.
