A BUSINESS RETROSPECT.

MR EDWIN CHATTERTON. Mr Edwin Ciiatturton is retiring from the firm of Messrs Yeale and Chatterton. grocers and provision merchants, New Plymouth. Mr Chatterton is urged by family reasons to withdraw from business, he having had considerably more than his due share of trouble in the past couple of years. The retiring partner lias had quite a long experience in business circles of this town. He landed here as a lad about twenty-one years ago, and short- , ly afterwards entered the service of the 1 Co-operative Stores of that time, the ■ forerunners of the recently-liquidated Co-operative Stores Company.
