SWEPT OVERBOARD.
PEB PKESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, January 1. The steamer Duco was towing the scow Ortian (Capt. P. W. McKenzie, Auckland) into Wellington in heavy weather, when it was found thelatter's crew of three had been swept overboard, either by the seas or the towrope.
