Gregory 73, Waddy 50, Carter not out 61, Cotter 68. Noble was over six hours at the wickets, and hit 21 fourers. Cotter knocked a two, three fou«ers, and two sixers off one of Saunders' overs. CANTERBURY V. OTAGO. PEK PBESS ASSOCIATION. J Chihstchchch, December 27. The interprovincial cricket match, Canterbury v. Otago, was concluded t»-day, when Otago won by 82 runs. Otago's first innings realised 100, and the second 208. Canterbury's first innings 122, second innings 158. I The Aucklaud-Wanganui cricket match resulted in a win for the visitors by an innings and 86 runs.
