INFANTICIDE.
(Mil) IMiKSX ASSOOI \THtN. Gisuubnk, December 22. A report from Awanui states that a body oi: a newly born infant was found floating in Ihe AVaipu river. The body was contained in a Maori kit and had its heiid bashed in. It appeal's to be a ease of child murder. A post mortem is being held.
