At the Church of the Epiphany this morning three ladies were initiated by the Anglican Bishop of Auckland (Dr. Neligan) into the order of "The Good Shepherd," which has for its object the cultivation iud deepening of devotional life amongst women associated together for the purp >.«e of church work. During a short address, I,he Bishop gave brief history of the mission, which he believed was i\o\y laid up»u thoroughly wise lines. This is the llrst religious Order for women established in New Zealand in connection with the Anglican Church, though such communities arc numerous in. England.
