It is believed the blacks attacked a frovcrnincnt bore party, killing two. The bore party captured and chained lira Ishaw's launch arrived shortly iffer the massacre and undertook to convoy the,natives to Port Darwin. Shortly after leaving, Bradslniw bad the irons removed, when the natives immediately attacked and murdered the whole crew excepting a black .)oy..
