Reutor's Leshawar correspondent states that the Mulla Powinda of the Mahsud tribe isimplieated in the murder of Major Donaldson, of Bannu. The crime was planned to revenge the punishment of another of the officers.

The murderers anticipating Government action, the Mulla called a judge, being apparently bout on fighting, and requested the Ameer's aid.
