SWIMMING SPORTS.

Tin' fine weather attracted a good attendance at the Municipal Baths on Thursday afternoon to witness the New Plymouth Suijiuning Cluh's sports. The events were all well eontested, and the diving exhibitions were very interesting. Between the events several swimmers engaged in aquatic antics, much to the amusement of the onlookers. Messrs Newman, Whitecombe, L. Bullot and G. Tisch acted as judges of the swimming events, Mr W. Liuts as starter and judge of the diving events, and Mr Slohr as timekeeper. Mr W. Newman, President o£ the club, in a few suitable remarks, mentioned that the West Coast, Amateur Championships (from Auckland to Wellington inclusive) will be held here in February next, Results of the racing -
