THE ATTITUDE OF AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND. London, December 8. The Dublin Nationalist Con venlion, expressed gratitude fur the generosity of the Irish in Australia and New Zealand towards Ireland during the past three years, especially thanking Curdinul Moran, Archbishop of Sydney, for organising a Home Rule tribute. At the instance of Mr T. P. O'Connor the Convention recorded appreciation of the Commonwealth Parliament's to the Crown in favour of Home Rule. .FLOODS IN AUSTRALIA. * HOW TUB RAIN COMES DOWN IN QUEENSLAND. MANY GALLANT RESCUES. Brisbane, December 0. The Hood waters have almost subsided. Nine inches fell during the storm. Many gallant rescues of inhabitants were made from Hooded dwellings.
