Sydney, December 7. An electric ear broke away in George street last night, anil ran down the Brickfield Hill at a terrific speed. It collided with another en \ and seven persons were injured, but none seriously. Received 7, 11.55 p.m. Sydney, December 7. An examination of the train car shows that the brakes and mechanism were in good order. The explanation of the mishap will, it is believed, be that on applj !ng the brakes they locked the wheels which then skidded oil the greasy rails. The ear was travelling at the rate of 50 miles rn hour at the moment of the collision. The driver had a leg broken, beside other injuries. s
