10 PER CENT DIVIDEND. (Received Nov. 24. 10.50 p.m.) HYI'NEV, Nov. 24. At tho half-yearly meeting of tlie Hank of New South Wales the baLneesheet showed :l net profit of £126,903. This, with the undivided balance of tlie last year, gave for distribution .6113,232. The directors recommended a dividend at the rate of 10 per cent per annum, £25,000 to be added to the reserve fund, and £18,232 carried forward. The Chairman, in his speech, said there was every indication of increased development with the colonies. He hoped, however, that the trend of legislation would not be such as to retard that development which would otherwise be looked for. The outlook as to wool was excellent,, whei.t was fairly good, and gold and other mining in dustries were fairly mnintninei.
