A NOMINAL SKNTKNCK. (Per Press Association.) Al CKLAXI), Nov. LM At the Supreme Court the trial of Andrew Campbell on a, charge of .nur.iei'ing Hoberi, llislop al Jiolorua was concluded tinday. The jury returned a verdict of manslaughter, with a strong recommendation to mercy. The Judge- said 'he was iustilied in passing a light sentence, and sentenc■d acciisi d to '2l hours' imprisonment' from the commencement, of the (.Yuri silling, and the time being up accused was allowed |„ go free. The jury presented' a vcmmiilion entirely clearing .Mrs Campbell's character.
