A Prosecution for Adnlterating Butter.
(Receive;! Nov. 28, 9.88 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 23. The Lancashire County Council are press :uti»g a Arm at Preston respecting a box of so-called Queensland butter bearing tlie Govermnont stamp, but found to contain an adulterated mixture consisting largely of cocoamtt oil. The Agents-General, who are assisting in the prosecution, traced the manufactory to London. It is believed that other Government graded butlers are also tampered with.
