Mr Gresham, City Coroner, held an inquiry into the cause of the fire whirls occurred on the night of Nov. ;' 2, or in the early hours of next mornk ing, in a house in, Richmond Road, 'the house was owned by Mr Daven- • port, and let to Miss Heldt, who • sublet portion of it to Dr. Gowllanrt. < The lire only did about 30s worth of damage to a door. After a retire- • ment of about 40 minutes, the jury ' returned the following verdict '-'-'The* unanimous opinion 0 f the jury is | that Br.
