In the Police Coiul a veterinary surgeon admitted the charge otUiug on licensed premises, hut pleaded that lie merely visited the stables of Hie hotel in performance of his professional work. The police staled ilial they would not have taken action il defendant had notified his purpose prior, to visiting the hotel. Hi" case was dismissed.
