Blowing Up Stranded Steamer.
A Great Explosion. (Received Sept. 29, 10.27 p.m.) SUEZ, Sept. 29. A column from the Chatham's fragments, sand and water, rose to a ■* height of 2000 feet, and strewed tJic banks of the canal for a distance, of 680 feet. When the last bank is destroyed traffic will be resumed in tiro canal, probably on Monday. ■
