(Per Press Aisoclatlon.} AUCKUAND, Sept. 29. Tho Peace Association has passed a resolution disapproving of the celebration of the Trafalgar Centenary as an act of discourtesy towards two friendly nations, ami the Association protes-ts against the use ol celebrations which promulgate piistaken and pernicious principles. Two Chinese were lined £SO ami two £lO each for having or smoked opium. Tho Crown solicitor stated I that the place raided by the police was a regular opium den.
