WATKIN MILLS CONCERT COMPANY
This talented combination, wnich gives one concert here next Friday, is delighting large audiences-iu New Zealand. A .Southern exchange, iiiK'r alia, says Mr Mills was in great voice, and received an oration for his iiiterpr'/tatir.n of "1 Am a Roanier," responding with an ndiuirahle rendering of "Plymouth Hoe." Mr Harold Wilde was heard to advantage in "0, Vision Entrancing" and "The Death of Nelson." Miss Lonsdale's powerful contralto again won admiration, the numbers received with most marked approval being "Mav-time" and "Happy Song." Miss Kirkwocd's light, Uexible, and perfectly 1 rained soprano captivated hearers in several numbers, "Love's Kcho" and "April" being of a .specially enjoyable l description. The second part embraced nine items, these being quartettes an,! four solos. Mons. Kduar.l Parlovitz played three concert selections in a masterly manner, and well merited the applause fcostoweil. He also played the accompaniments artistically. The box plan is now open at Mckinnon Haiti's music warehouse, whete seats are in 'big demand.
