TECHNICAL EDUCATION AT AUCKLAND.
BUILDING GRANT REQUIRED. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Sept 20. At a meeting of the Board of Education, the director ol Technical Education stated that, unless the Government did something- to provide proper buildings for a technical school be would, at the end of the present year, give the Board six months' notice. He specially complained of the attitude of the Premier at a recent interview on this question. The Board resolved that the Auckland members be urged to press for a grant of £ISOO (or building a technical college at 'Auckland.
