This no doubt made him depressed. On Monday morning he was missed from the house, and' Air Fordyee searched for him. Duncan was found lying dead in the ti tree. lit had taken his employer's gun, and placed the muzzle against his heart. The cartridge wus tired by deceased using a stick to pull the trigger. At the inquest, a letter was produced in deceased's handwriting, showing that he had' premeditated the rash act. The verdict was that Duncan committed suicide while temporarily insane.
