A temperature of 40.8 was registered in Sydney at noon to-day, tho lowest noon record since 1864 Scattered flakes of snow fell, a most .unusual experience here. (Received Sept. 7, 1 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 0. Heavy weather prevails on thr coast south from Sydney. The kct-i ches Keaora and Hero were driven ashore at C.abo. The crews are safe.
