The .£SOO Refunded. Mr Crick Further Implicated. (Received Sept. 6, 11.8 p.m.) SIDNEY, Sept. (i. A" Lands Commission witness named Fisher gave evidence in connection with the refund of £!>00 fees for a lease which to secure for him. Willis told him that Mr Crick hail said that Fisher would get. the lease, adding "and he has got the money." Witness further stated that. Peter Close, whom he also employed in the matter, said to him : "If you don't get the least Crick will have to give mc your money back.
