HipTOHUA. Sept. 3. A new geyser broke out in th« vicinity of Ohinemutu this afternoon, and sent mud and water to height# varying from twenty to sixty feefc< Tho geyser, which is in close prox* unity to the 'Paiwora hot water geyv &or, had previously beon used a»s a cooking hole by the Maoris. Its ftiouth is about 30ft| square. The geyser played throughout the after* noon.
All the pools in Ohinemutu and Whnkaivwaivwa have been exceeding* )y active for some days.
