Man Shoots Himself in a Hotel
While Under Police Suspicion- ■ 0 ■' (Per Press Association.) NAPIEB, Sept. i. A man named John Hyland, said to be a nephew oi, the proprietor ol Hylatid's Circus, was tound dead' in, his bed at the Albion Hotel .this evening. There was a bullet hole in the man's head, and a revolver loaded in all but one chamber was in his left hand. It .is supposed to be a case of suicide. After Hyland retird on Sunday his door, was found lock-t ed, but as that was not unusual no alarm was felt.; On the wile of the proprietor going the rounds this eveaing, however, she found the door sttll locked, with the key on the- teside. The police were at once communicated with, and they burst the door open, finding Hyland'sbody lying on the bed and half coveted with the bed; clothes. The only motive which can be suggested for the deed is that tho. man was under suspicion of theft and ihe police Were making inquiries into, the case.
