Mr John I'ower, of Feilding, has been admitted ns a solicitor of the Supreme Court.
Mr T. Donovan, of New Ply. mouth, who is well-known in musical circles, left on i'riday morning, on n trip, via Wellington, to :Molbourn t and Sydney. Mr Donovan will be away for about two months.
Mr V. 11. Ileal, captain of (he New Plymouth Hockey Clut), has been presented by the members of the club with an afternoon tea service of llelleek china, with tray, as a token of goodwill on the occasion of his approaching marriage.
