At the inqui-st on John Price, who wns killed on Friday through being knocked down by an electric car at the corner of Cuba and H'eM> Streets the evidence showed that everv care tad been taken by the wotorman. Deceased appeared stupefied. IJe had drawn his pension that day, and may have been drinking. The jury returned a verdict that death was purely accidental, the motorinan being 'Commended for his promptitude in bringing the car to a standstill, A rider was added recommending to the City Council that, Webb Street should bo better lighted, An inquest was hel<byesterday concerning the death of James Albert Keid, a carpenter who fell from the verandah of a house in course of erection.; A verdict of accidental death was. returned. The deceased loaves a wife and one child.
