A Profitable Tear's Wort Enlargement Contemplated (Pel Press Association.) WANGANUI, Aug. 20. The annual meeting of the Wanganui Freezing Company was hold today. The balance at profit and loss, including £2671 15s 2d carried forward from last year, was £0950 0s 7»1, which the directors recommended for appropriation as followsTo place to insurance 'reserve £IOOO ; pay a dividend of 8 per cent, per annum on the paid-up capital of the company ; make the necessary provision for depreciation of machinery! and plant, and carry forward the balance. ! The report and balance-sheet Were adopted, and Messrs John Stevenson and S. Handley were lc-clcctcd director. In the course of his remarks, the Chairman said it was intended at the end of next season to enlarge the | works to the capacity of 2000 sheep a day. s=s=M^s;sass
