BURNSIDE MARKET REPORT. (Pet Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Aug. 23. Fat cattle.—2lo were ly of medium quality, only a few j pens being prime. Bidding was not brisk, especially for unfinished. Ik'Stbullocks £9 10s to £ll 7s 6d, medium to good £7 15s to £8 17s 6d, light £5 2s 6d to £B lis, best heifers £7 5s to £7 12s W, medium to good £5 17s 6d to £6 15s, aged £1 as to £5 10s.

Fat sheep,—l9l3 Were penned, ranging from medium to good. Prices all round hardly compare favourably with last week's. Best wethers 2-is (rd (o 26s (extra up to 27s 9d), good wcllicrs 21s 10 225, others up to 20s, [best ewes up to 22s 6d (one pen up. to 21s 9d), others 16b to 20s. Hoggets.—B2 were penned. Prices were the same as last week's. Best 17s to 19s (one pen up to 20s ad), others up to 17s, Pigs.—lso were penned. Suckers and slips met with a good demand. Very few baconers or porkers were forward. Suckers 7s to 10s, slips lis to 15s, stores 16s to 2fts, porkers 22s to 31s, light baconers 3Gs to 10s, heavy 42s to 465, choppers up to 50s. DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKIiT. DUNEDIN, Aug. 23. Wheat.—Millers arc still buyingfrom hand to mouth, and then only the very best. Medium has no demand, except as fowl feed. The quantity placed on the market is limited, Prime milling 3s 2d to 3s 3d. medium nominally 2s lid to 3s, inferior to medium 2s 9d to 2s lid, broken 2s Gd to 2s Rd ; sacks extra. Oats —ln fair demand
