The Pacific Cable.
Lord Strathconi's Opinion (Received Aug. 16, 10.55 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. lfi. Lerd Strathcona, Canadian High Commissioner,, interviewed, said be can hardly doubt that the Governments concerned will adopt the suggestions of the Pacific Cable report. He opines pooling the profits and losses of the two companies and largely eliminating the expenses af advertising would benefit everybody concerned.
