FRIDAY, AUG. 11, 1905. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The House met at 2.30 p.m. Nearly the whole afternoon was occupied in discussing the report of the Lands Committee oji a petition, from the lessee of the Rotokarc Domain for compensation. The debate was interrupted by the 5.30 p.m. adjournment. EVENING SITTING. The House resumed at 7.30 p.m., and went into Committee of Supply for the further consideration of tho EstrmatcSi The vote for the Legislative Departments! was passed unaHcrwl alter considerable discussion. The vote for tile Colonial Treasurer's Department also gave rise to a lengthy discussion.
