A MAN'S NECK BROKEN.

(Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Aug. 11. A fatal accident occurred on Friday evening at the Wellington and Marlborough Lime and Cement Company's new works at the elevation in the vicinity ofPicton, whereby an employee, named Albert Kilpatrick, 23 years of age, lost his life. Kilpatrick was working on a ladder when he slipped and fell, becoming entangled In the machinery. He died shortly after admission to the Picton Hospital. It is supposed that his neck was broken. Deceased was a native of Dunedin.
