O'"SUNDAY." During the recent season in Wellington by Miss Tittell Brune and Mr J. 0. Williamson's company, the comedy, drama "Sunday," presented for a few nights about the middle of the season, proved so eminently successful that there was a general outcry for its repetition. This tho management acceded to at the last moment by, subs4ituting it on the last night for another play ; and then again there were hundreds unable to gain admission, so great had become its popularity. In all its essentials, "Sunday," which is to- be presented here by Miss Brune and company on Thursday evening, is well calculated to win the favour of playgoers. It alternates between dramatic moments and light comedy, broad humour and tender . sentiment, skilfully! blending together a set of incongruous characters, each with a distinctly drawn individuality, and moves briskly on to a very fine climax, which in. its pleasantness is not tempered by even the meagtest of regrets. In plain words, it is a dainty love story, lightened and made merry by. its surroundings, but with a potential tragedy threatening which however, finally passes away! Sunday, the name given Ui the young heroine -because she was horn on the Sa*J>ath, is certain to be witnessed by a crowded house
