Mrs Maria Franks, a resident of Ballarat (Victoria) died last, week at the age of ono hundred and two years. The ranks of our early settlers sustained another diminution Oiv Saturday through •the death of Mrs Helen Amelia Collins, at tho age of 68. Mrs..-Collins was well known and ro-. npeoted for her many sterling qualities; The funeral leaves her late residence. Gorer Street, for To Hetnti cemetery at 2 p.m* to-day.
