LONDON, Aug. 4. The Japanese drove the Russians from Paleo, Saghalieni southwards, capturing two guns. The Russians hailed once, 25 miles south of Taylen, and sent a flag of truce, stating they had no medical necessaries, and were therefore compelled to terminate hostilities. The Japanese demanded all war supplies and Government property intact, and the Governor accepted the terms and surrendered with 70 officers and 3000 men. Japan has ordered from America 350 steel bridges, 150 locomotives and 2000 steel cars, on quickest delivery for a 150 mile expansion through Manchuria'to connect the FusanSeoul railroad with the Chinese eastern railroad.
