Land Slip at Napier.

a House Moved into the Road. Another Damaged. (I' i' Press Association.) NAPIER, Aug. 4. Another heavy land slip took place about five minuies- to eight this evening, when a large quantity of earth came down from Colenso Hill, crash- 1 ing into a six-roomed house owned by Mr Montague Lascelles, and which, until this morning, was occupied by Mr A. Bailey, jcweller.The house was' shifted right into the Milton Road, the chimneys ami verandah being completely demolished. Mr S. Woodcock's house adjoining was also twisted and partly upset, one corner being wrecked.

Owing to a fall of earth yesterday at the rear of Mr Woodcock's house, the occupants of 'both houses moved out to-day, but Mr Woodcock's furniture had not been removed, and a quantity of that had been damaged.
