Q Refutation by Treasury. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 3. ■ In tlie House of Representatives this afternoon, the Premier read a communication from the Treasury, Department stating : (l) That there was no trace of any voucher having passed through the Treasury as payment out of public moneys lor a. wreath [or the late Hon. Walker's funeral, with Ministers' names on tlie face of it; (2) that there was no record of any payment to Captain Seddon for the organisation of the dor fence stores.
