The Question ef Subsidy. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCH'URCH, Aug. 2. Mr Lowrie, Director of Lincoln College, at a meeting of the Board of Governors 10-day, referred to the question of conducting experiments in the interests of farmers' at the College. with reduced endowments, lie saw, it was difficult to work the College to the best advantage. What they wanted was a wealthy man to leave the College a sum sufficient to bring in £IOOO per annum.
