Mr. Fisher's Blunder.

The Premie; Wants Reparation. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 1. Mr Seddon laid on the table of tho House this afternoon a large number of documents relating to the FisherCaptain Seddon and other incidents connected with Friday night's debate. These included the original voucher referred to by Mr Fisher, which contained the signature of R. Sneddon, not of Captain Seddon. The Premier said the documents provided a complete refutation of lire charges made. Owing to Mr Fisher's absence from Wellington he did not propose to make any motion that afternoon. Be would let matters, stand as they were until Mr Fisher's return, and his attitude would then depend upon the way in which reparation was made. Mr Massey approved of the lino adopted by the Premier. Mr. Sneddon's Repudiation. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 1. In connection with Mr Fisher's charges against Captain Seddon, the following letter from Richard Sneddon appears in the local newspapers : "Seeing my name has been brought before the public in regard to a Government voucher for £76 4s 9d, receipted by me on June 9, 1904, for and on behalf ol my employers, Andersons, Ltd., I wish to (State emphatically that it had nothing whatever to do with Mr Fisher's charges against Captain Seddon, or, as he states, 'for reorganising defence stores.' The voucher was for iron and steel supplied by Andersons, Ltd. to the Railway stores at Addington, and I am continually signing such vouchers, through this firm bsfag the txovernment' contractors. I know nothing whatever about Mr Fisher's accusations against Captain Seddon, nor did I give any information regarding this voucher."
