The establishment of a training College in Aucktott referred to ■t the meeting of the Board of Education to-day. lie proposal was to establish a training college at Wellcsleyi Struct School until a suitable building could b« erect«l. The Minister's reply to a request of the Hoard for a granl of £50(10 j was to the effect that the application .would be dealt with in connection witSi the Public Works Estimates, but there was no rcaM>n why the Board should not establish a school in the meaner already approved. Mr * Hobbs said something definite should be decided. "What ore w« going to do with these teachers and children 7" he qperietf. A resolution was passed that the matter be sent oa to the City Schools Committee for their advice.
