In Hie House of Commons Mr Balfour maintained that the precedents of constitutional doctrine justified: the Government's decision not to accept the recent vote as one of want-of-confidence. Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerojan combatted this. I Mr John Redmond declared it to ba the duty of every member to make the Government's existence impossible.
