A CONCESSION ASKED FOR. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 24. A deputation from the National Dairy Association, accompanied by members of Parliament, waited on Sir J. G. Ward, Minister for Railways, to-day to urge a reduction of one-third on the freight of butter and cheese. The Minister said such a concession meant £4OOO a year, but the industry deserved every encouragement.
